Questions and answers

Do you support game development for consoles?

We mainly use publicly available game engines for our projects. Depending on whether the console supports the compilation of the game engine, we can offer the export. For example, the Unity3D engine supports export to the Nintendo Switch or to the Meta Pro. In special cases, we can develop our own "small" renderer using common 3D frameworks, if that is required.

Analog game development, what is it?

By analog game development we mean the development of games with a haptic component. This includes, among others, plan, board and card games. There are also hybrid models in which analog and digital elements can be combined. For example, a board game could be enhanced with AR markers to provide additional content. -Board games, etc. pp.(?)

What prices should one expect?

Since we approach each customer's request individually, prices cannot be generalized. A game production can vary greatly in size, as different people and roles are involved in the development. We try to keep the effort as low as possible by using templates, plugins and prefabricated assets, but the more people are involved in the development, the more expensive the project will be. Our prices are calculated individually and are based on the industry standard daily and hourly rates.

Recommendations/questions about your own planning?

For example, your own documents or sketches are extremely useful for planning your own projects. We work internally with game design documents, documents, UX drafts, mock-ups and reference images, or reference projects. This helps us make the project "tangible" and gain clarity about the project. We therefore recommend that you invest a lot of time in thinking and planning in order to guarantee a smooth process during the subsequent development.

Suitable for larger companies / individuals?

A game production is usually a complex activity, which requires a certain budget. Therefore, it happens rather rarely that individuals commission a development. However, if sufficient budget is available, a game production can also be made for individuals. Larger companies, on the other hand, often need different specialists for non-industry projects in addition to their own core business areas. Therefore, game development projects are equally suitable for both sides, but strongly depend on the volume.
